Alex Perez featured on PBS for Autism Awareness Month

Alex Perez, the son of Casa Familia Board of Directors member Maria Perez and husband Frank, was recently featured in two segments on PBS South Florida in coordination with Autism Awareness Month, PBS’s Your South Florida produced features about individuals with autism that had a musical or athletic talent, and how that talent helped them in life.

Alex is a 31-year-old professional musician with autism. His parents got him involved with music at an early age, which helped with his concentration and behavior, setting him on a path to success. Watch Alex’s story in these 2 videos.
