Eric Rossel

Eric was born in Silver Spring, Maryland and moved to Miami in 2001. Hi is a first-generation Cuban-Chilean American; Cuban from his mother’s side and Chilean from his father’s side. Eric has two siblings, a younger brother and an older sister who has Down syndrome.

Spanish is his first language; and attending magnet schools including Sunset Elementary and Carver Middle School helped him to stay fluent. He graduated from Christopher Columbus High School and went on to graduate from FIU with a bachelor’s degree in finance.

Eric started his career working at Ryder Systems in their internal audit department and transitioned into the family construction business in 2022. Eric has been part of organizations like Friendship Circle, Down Syndrome Association of Miami, and the Sigma Chi chapter at FIU where he held leadership positions throughout his time in school. Currently, he is the co-chair of the Community Outreach Committee for Casa Familia’s Young Professionals Board.

Eric’s favorite hobbies are traveling, eating great food, golfing with friends and family, and playing basketball.
