Javier Fernández

Javier Fernández has been practicing in the area of land use and entitlement law for the past decade representing developers and property owners before municipal and county boards.   He has served as land use counsel for some the largest retail, mixed-use, and transit-oriented projects in Miami-Dade County, including handling the negotiation of local incentive agreements, labor peace agreements, land swaps and procurement issues impacting such projects.

Javier is also a former member of the Florida House of Representatives where he served on the Commerce Committee, Health Market Reform Subcommittee, the Pre-K-12 Education Innovation Subcommittee, and the Oversight, Transparency & Public Management Subcommittee.
