Mr. Plonskier is the current Chair of the Real Estate Committee and former Board Chair of Casa Familia, Inc. He is the co-founder and President of The Gatehouse Group, which has built and operates numerous affordable apartment communities in Florida, California and New England.  Mr. Plonskier was Chairman of the Coalition of Affordable Housing Providers, a 70-member group of banks, developers and professionals which advises the Florida Housing Finance Corp. on policies affecting the production of affordable housing throughout the state. He currently serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. Mr. Plonskier was a real estate partner in the Boston law firm of Peabody and Brown (now Nixon Peabody).
