Casa Familia Kendall is a first-of-its-kind, innovative community-based housing model specifically designed with features to benefit and support adults with Intellectual, Developmental, and Other Related Disabilities.

With generous support from Miami-Dade County, Casa Familia Kendall is located on nine acres of land in the heart of Kendall. The community was created to provide more than housing. It was designed to foster independence, connection, dignity, and belonging.

Casa Familia Kendall is a place where residents can build friendships, participate in community life, access supportive services, and experience the dignity of having a home of their own.

Casa Familia Kendall is made up of three communities: The Village of Casa Familia, Gardens at Casa Familia, and Residences at Casa Familia.

Designed and Connected for Community Living

At the center of Casa Familia Kendall is a vibrant, 11,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art community center created to support resident life, engagement, and belonging.

The community center includes: an art studio, internet café, fitness center, game room, demonstration kitchen, movie theater, multi-purpose event room, serenity suite, resort-style pool and spa, and covered outdoor areas.

These amenities are designed to help residents connect with one another, participate in meaningful activities, and enjoy the everyday experiences that make a community feel like home.

Our Location

Casa Familia Kendall is conveniently located at 10951 S.W. 84th Street in Kendall, near public transportation, employment opportunities, shopping centers, recreational spaces, educational resources, medical facilities, and other important community destinations.

This location was chosen with independence and accessibility in mind, helping residents remain connected to the larger Kendall and Miami-Dade community.
